Cluster policy
Covers every instance on an Incus source, including ones created later. A schedule saved on one instance is left as an exception.

Schedule
Snapshots —
Fast, on-source checkpoints — never leave the source, so there's nothing to download. Incus restores a snapshot in place with no data-loss window; Docker recreates the container from the committed image and cannot restore named volumes.

Recent runs
Local paths are inside the backup service (its container when using Docker). Off-site locations are recorded at run time; a successful copy may later be removed by retention.
